Approach to Cases
I take whatever approach I believe is suitable to the case. I am a zealous advocate for my clients but I do not take what is normally described as an "aggressive" approach initially. This means that I do not start baring my teeth from the moment I get hired. I will argue fervently but will remain respectful to all parties. I have found that being overly aggressive, not only does not produce the desired results for the parties, but it alienates the Court and makes the process more difficult for the litigants. I always consider the particulars of each client's situation and advise them honestly about my analysis of the case. However, I will argue whatever position my clients want to take before the Court, but I always make sure my clients are aware of their chances of success and understand their rights and obligations from the start.
Years of Experience
I have been licensed since 2009 but have been in the legal filed for years prior to that.
Service Rates
Rates and initial retainers depend on the complexity of a client's case. I provide services on hourly retainers, as well as on a flat fee basis, depending on the client's needs. I provide a discounted-rate hour-long consultation for clients who need guidance or are unsure about how they should proceed.
Response Time
I try to respond to calls, emails, and messages within 24 hours or less. I am usually easier to reach by email as I am frequently in Court. If a client indicates to me somehow (usually by email or text) that there is an urgent matter they need to discuss, I will reach out to them sooner than later.
Case Updates
I provide progress reports (usually via email) while the case is ongoing and always keep my clients informed of new developments. These reports include any developments clients should be aware of. I would not usually reach out to clients if there is nothing to discuss because I wouldn't want them to incur unnecessary attorney fees. However, clients are always welcome to email me or call me with questions.
